This is our view when we were residing in downtown. It was lovely!! Now, I just need to get some new pics of our flat, all organized and such, which it isn't...yet. We hope to have it all done by this coming weekend. We are adjusting to life in Chi-town. The most important aspect will be finding a new church and close knit community of friends. We are still on the search, but hope to chose a home church in the coming weeks.
Wow--beautiful! I can't wait to visit Chi-town. ;) Post some new pics of your flat soon.
ReplyDeleteI love those old brownstones. The area close to the lake is full of them, and so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSuz, I love checking this blog. I'm glad you guys are doing well in Chicago. I visited chicago in March of 05 and to date, it's still one of my favorite big city. I think about both of you often. I'll be praying that you guys find a home church soon. love you tons. jess
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised you didn't opt to stay right there! This is a gorgeous view. That building across the street (covered in ivy) kinda reminds me of the old red courthouse bldg in downtown D. I wonder if they were built in the same decade...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see inside your flat - all cozied up.
