In Texas, we have our fair share of awful insects: fire ants and spiders, big and small (especially the barn spider, 3 inches in diameter, though not pictured here). I will not miss these creatures once we move to Chicago, though, yes there will be new ones. Here is a spider in a more peaceful moment outside our home.
darling, don't you know that chicago will just have new bugs? But probably not fire ants for sure, nice shots of the webs!
ReplyDeletealso on your previous entries...w/ those grovvy leggings and shoes all she'll need is a ramones or sex pistols Tshirt.
the chandelier could be save if wrapped in a garland or little lampshades on the bulbs if thats your thing :)
Mel, of course there will be new bugs, but I'll be just as happy to get rid of the ones we see often here. :)
ReplyDeleteI know, she'll need a killer t-shirt to go with the outfit; I'll be on the hunt.
We'll probably get little lampsahdes from Target. Anything to cover up as much of that chandelier as possible!
everything IS bigger in TX isn't it? ;)
ReplyDeleteWe've traded spiders and fire ants for mice and moths. It's a toss up.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, especially considering the creaters of such artwork. I'm not a fan of spiders myself, but with these big hairy wolf spiders that are in Winterset, I'm growing accustomed to the big creepies--okay, accustomed may be a strong word, but I don't always freeze in panic and silent scream for Buck to come kill them anymore :o)
