mastercard moment

A big storm swept through north Texas last week:
Cost to remove damaged tree: $275

Cost to uproot tree: $125

Explaining what happened to your 16-month old: priceless

  5. Hilarious post - minus the part of the tree and the money you had to spend removing it, of course. Such a cute pic of Mags!

I'm sorry you couldn't have found a pair of beavers to do the job for you.
That had to be a very serious storm!

  7. i love your house! it looks so cozy. if you lived here in Lancaster, you'd have had an artist come & carve a bear or eagle or something into the remaining trunk of the tree. c'mon guys! you could have done a Maggie statue! she's adorable and i think Mia has her shirt! so cute! xo

  8. Suzanne, you should have entered the contest for writing those advertisements! Marvelous! You have a way with words and humor just like your mother. And...what a darling picture of M.

  9. she adds a whole new twist to "stumpin"! So sorry about your tree!!! I know that was probably one of the reasons you chose your home ~ all those mature trees. Show Mags how to plant a new one ~ she can name it and watch it grow! :)

  11. You'll have to get some artist to make a Maggie statue birdbath to go on the stump all the time!
