A cold front came through Dallas today! I sit on the couch and listen to the wind blow, feel the occasional cool night air creep through the window, and settle into reading book 2 in the
Twlight series. I spent the morning baking: a pumpkin gingerbread loaf and a pumpkin bread pudding. We are bundled in warm jammies and enjoying the fall weather...for now.
*sigh* What a cozy night. I made pumpkin bread and chicken noodle soup, and am reading your book club selection. :o)
ReplyDeleteSounds blissful indeed!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! You KNOW I feel you about the weather here! I wish it would just stay like this...
ReplyDeleteha ha ha...i made pumpkin streusel muffins too. something about ushering Fall in with the pumpkin goodness!
ReplyDeletewow, i am jealous. there is nothing fall-ish about life here in costa rica and i am missing that. i can find squash for not too expensive, and apples are available, although they are really expensive. i've been daydreaming of carmel apples, pumpkin pies, leaves changing, etc. i'll have to figure out some way to make us realize that it's fall, because we just can't believe it by looking at the calendar. enjoy your autumn!
