8 months

Maggie's 8 month mark is today and I cannot believe how fast time is flying. We are enjoying her more and more each day, each week. She has 4 new teeth on top, loves to growl when she plays with her toys, loves to be led around the house as she walks, enjoys squash, sweet potatoes, and peaches best, and is giving us a new and very cute "cheese" face. It even seems that when we say "cheese face," she will make it. At the request of Pops (Aron's dad), I have been trying to take a picture of this, but to no avail. For now, here are a few shots of our sweet Maggie Grace on this auspicious occasion.

  3. So cute Suz. :) She is definitely getting big! It's unbelievable how fast children grow! Just wait until you have a 2nd child! Goes even faster!! :) You are going to be extremely busy when she is walking!!! ha ha ha! I was SOOOO tired at the end of the day with Angelina! When she learned how to crawl lightning fast (at 6 months) and then 6 months later walk... wow! Constant chase. ha ha! What size clothes is she in now?

  4. Happy eight months, Maggie! You are definitely our favorite granddaughter. I hope your mom and dad save all of these blog comments. They will be fun for you to read when you can read. Your dad said he and your mom took you for a walk to Starbucks to celebrate your 8th month. Did they buy you a latte or cappuccino...even a little mug 'o milk? Well, they better have! Tell them you don't like being pushed around in the heat without something really cold to drink. Look em straight in the eye when you tell them. Remember all you have to do is pull out the bib we gave you, "That's it I'm calling my marmie." You don't want to overplay that trump card, however, otherwise it becomes like callin' wuf too many times...eventually it's effect wears off and you are back to square one...and that is no fun at all. You have to keep em' guessing, stay two baby steps ahead of em', keep em' twisted around your little finger. Don't forget you have two hands, so you can keep both mom and dad all twisted around and about whatever your little heart wants and desires. Play it for all it's worth, cause' parents have a way of learning really fast...so remember the rule, "two baby steps ahead," that's all it takes. Well, grandpa has to sign off, now. Marmie is taking a long summer's nap. She told me to tell you, hi, and to give you a kiss for her. I'll ask your mom and dad to give you a kiss for both of us! Hang in there, it is only one more week before you get to be held by marmie, and aunt Shannon!!! Yeaaayyyy, now clap your little palms together...come on now give it up!! Love, Grandpa and Marmie

  5. I can't believe you are 3/4ths of a year old, Maggie! I hear mommie has expanded your diet options and that you like peaches. YUM YUM It won't be long until I see you in Oklahoma City--can't wait!

  7. thanks for the maggie love, once again.

Bailey, glad you are back to blogging. I'm assuming you are feeling better? Keep getting good rest!

Shey, I think it depends on the brand. Most Target stuff, needs to be 12m and up. She wears bigger shirts in general, too. Baby Gap stuff can range between 6-12 months, and Old Navy is usually 12m and up as well. What about Z these days? And new teeth for her?

Grandpa and Marmee, so glad you are becoming more blog regulars. Thanks for the sweet comments. It was wonderful to see you guys a few weeks ago; can't wait for this weekend!

  9. She is precious! I loved seeing her little faces as that really makes her personality shine. I know you hate the screaming part, but it's so fun to see them discover their "voice." You are dressing her cute - such a little fashionista. So glad you are enjoying your sweet baby girl so much; it just gets better and better.

    xoxo

  11. Hey Suz. Zoe just got into 6-9 months, but those are huge on her! :) She can still fit into a lot of her 3-6 month clothes. :)
She has her bottom 2 teeth. And I think that she is going to be getting her top 2 teeth soon. :) There are more updates on my new blog...
