Saturday at the lake

This past Saturday our church held it's annual kick-off to summer barbeque and I helped coordinate. About 65-70 people showed up, ate burgers and brats (the best brats Aron and I have ever tasted), played frisbee, and just kicked back. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed the time getting to know new people. The best part of the day? Maggie survived on only three 1-hour naps, instead of her usual 5-6 hours of naptime throughout a given day. I couldn't have been more pleased! She was the only baby and recieved lots of attention, especially from a set of 5-year old twins.
Grillin' up the goods...Steve, we missed you!

Chillin' in the shade; it was a *perfect* day!

Mags and dad

Feeding the Magster; Aron is an amazing dad!

  1. Who's that skinny guy with the earring and cute baby?

  2. Yea Mags for surviving on shorter naps. I'm sure it's because she is well-rested to start, so she could afford a little less sleep.

This looked really fun. Bravo on a job well done with the planning. And yea for good weather too.

  3. Looks fun!! And, lookin' good Aron!!

Yay for you all! What a fun time, and nothing like helping with the coordination to be part of the team. Aron and Maggie both look great.

  5. Suz-
To funny. All my friends go to your church and you have a picture of Al and the back of Taylor. I'm glad you are liking it and getting to know people.

  6. I'm so glad you guys had a great time. Way to go on jumping in and helping plan everything!

  7. Love that sweet, intelligent look on her face--priceless!

  8. Sorry I have been missing in action the past week and a half...I am back to posting and commenting now, though :) Looks like alot of fun was had by all at the cookout...Maggie is going to be so big whenever I finally get to see her!!!
